What's New at the Foundation
Tori's Butterfly Garden is gearing up for the 5th Annual SummerFest Arts Festival on Saturday, July 29th, 2017 in downtown Hartford City. TBGF joined forces with the SummerFest Committee in 2015 to sponsor this event. The SummerFest Arts Festival brings our community together to celebrate the arts in East Central Indiana. The day is filled with artisans displaying and selling their arts and crafts, live music from Indiana musicians, free arts and craft activities for kids, the Farmer's Market, great food and more. Click here for more information and to see pictures from last year's festival.
The Foundation has been commissioned by the Hartford City Mayor to build the next public butterfly garden. This garden is on the corner of Mill and Washington Streets in Hartford City. Click on the link above to learn more information about this project.
We need your help with building this new garden! Click here to learn how to volunteer your time. Also help support the gardens by donating to Tori's Butterfly Garden Foundation.
Building of the Conger Street Tori's Butterfly Garden
Watch the video to see the process of building the Conger Street Butterfly Garden from an empty lot to what it looked like last summer in bloom. We have just purchased the lot adjacent to this garden and have been removing the blighted trailers to be able to expand the garden.
About the Foundation
Gardening and Nature Initiatives
One of Foundation's goals is to revitalize blighted neighborhoods with public gardens and other nature activities. The Foundation also works to help feed the hungry with local produce from their community garden and educate others on gardening.
Fine Arts Initiatives
The Foundation also works to help promote the fine arts in Blackford County. TBGF organizes community and family art events as well as art nights for local children. TBGF donates crayons and art supplies for local children in need.
